Policies & Expectations

AdaptRides is built on trust, communication, and real-life factors. These policies are here to keep you, your loved ones, and your driver safe, respected, and on the same page.

How AdaptRides Works

Hourly Service

AdaptRides is an hourly, private driver service. You are reserving my time, my SUV, and my support — not just a point A to point B ride. Multiple stops are included within your booked time.

Current hourly rates are listed on the main page and may vary by rider type (kids, seniors, adults).

Bookings, Deposits & Cancellations

Deposits

Some rides — especially nightlife, recurring, or high-demand time slots — may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. When a deposit is requested, it will be clearly communicated up front and will be applied toward your final total.

Cancellations

Life happens — I understand. In general, rides cancelled at least 24 hours in advance may be eligible for a refund of any prepaid time (excluding deposits when marked non-refundable).

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time may be charged up to the minimum booking time, since that time was reserved for you.

Exact cancellation terms may vary by service type (kids, seniors, nightlife). I’ll always try to be fair, but also respectful of my time and other families’ needs.

Wait Time

Since AdaptRides is billed by the hour, wait time is literally part of the deal — I’m not rushing you.

If you’re taking forever because the DJ dropped your song? Just shoot me a text. If you’re done for the night? A quick “I’m ready to head out” or “we’re ending here” works perfectly.

Clear communication keeps the night smooth for both of us.

Payments

How You Pay

AdaptRides currently uses Square for payments.

  • You may receive a secure Square payment link by text or email.
  • You can also tap to pay in person (contactless card, digital wallet, or chip).

Payment is generally due before the ride begins or at the time of pickup, depending on the type of service. Some bookings may require a deposit in advance.

Child Riders & Car Seats

Car Seats & Safety

A child seat is provided when needed, and you are also welcome to provide your own car seat or booster if you prefer. I will ensure it is installed and secured properly before driving.

All children must ride in an age-appropriate, properly secured restraint according to Nevada laws. If a safe, legal setup is not possible, the ride may need to be delayed or cancelled.

Parent / Guardian Communication

For child and teen riders, a parent or legal guardian must approve and coordinate service. I encourage clear communication about pickup locations, drop-off details, and who will be receiving the child.

Seniors & Disabled Riders

AdaptRides was shaped by real caregiving experience. For seniors and disabled riders, I provide true door-to-door support — including extra time to get in and out of the vehicle, assistance to and from the door when appropriate, and a patient pace.

If additional mobility devices (walkers, wheelchairs, etc.) are involved, please let me know when booking so I can be prepared.

Adults & Nightlife Riders

Nightlife and event rides are designed around drinking responsibly and getting home safely. You agree not to drive under the influence and to treat the ride as your safe plan for the night.

Aggressive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward the driver or others is not tolerated. I reserve the right to end the ride early if safety becomes a concern.

Behavior & Safety

Respect in the Vehicle

AdaptRides is a respect-first space. This includes respect for the driver, other riders, and yourself. Harassment, hate speech, unwanted advances, or threatening behavior are not allowed.

I reserve the right to stop service and, if needed, contact appropriate support if I feel unsafe.

Substances

No smoking or vaping inside the vehicle. Illegal substances are not allowed in the vehicle at any time.

Cleanliness & Damage

Please help keep the vehicle clean and comfortable for everyone. Spills, excessive mess, or damage to the interior may result in a cleaning or repair fee, depending on the situation.

If you or someone in your party feels unwell, please let me know so we can plan ahead and avoid a major mess.

Communication & Updates

Good communication keeps everything running smoothly. Please respond to confirmation messages, let me know about delays, and update me if plans change mid-ride.

You’ll always know who your driver is, what vehicle to look for, and how to reach me during your booked time.
