1. What exactly is AdaptRides?

AdaptRides is a private hourly driver service — not a traditional rideshare. You get one trusted driver (Taylor), the same SUV, and multiple stops included in your booked time.

It’s designed for real-life needs: kids, seniors, nightlife, errands, appointments, and everyday rides where safety, consistency, and communication matter.

🌿 2. How is this different from rideshare or other transportation services in town?

AdaptRides is built from the ground up by a woman whose service comes directly from her personal experiences, not a corporate playbook.

You’re not dealing with a rotating list of random drivers — you get one consistent, accountable driver who values safety, dignity, patience, and respect.

We’re not a big name company (yet), but even as AdaptRides grows, the principles and integrity will always remain the same.

💵 3. How much does it cost?

AdaptRides bills by the hour. Rates vary by rider type (kids, seniors, adults), and every booking includes:

  • Multiple stops
  • Wait time within your booked hours
  • The same driver and SUV for your entire outing

Current rates are listed on the main page and may be adjusted over time as the service grows.

4. Do you take same-day bookings?

Sometimes, yes — but it depends on the day and existing schedule. School runs, seniors, and nightlife bookings often reserve time in advance.

If you know you’ll need a ride, especially for events or nights out, it’s best to book early.

🎉 5. Do you do group rides or bar-hopping?

Yes — group rides and nightlife are a big part of AdaptRides.

Common bookings include:

  • Ladies’ nights and girls’ trips
  • LGBTQ+ events and celebrations
  • Birthday outings and date nights
  • Bar-hopping, casino-hopping, and Fremont nights

Your group stays with one driver, so you’re not split up between random cars at the end of the night.

👶 6. Do you provide a child car seat?

Yes — a child seat is provided when needed, and you are always welcome to provide your own preferred car seat or booster.

All children must be in an age-appropriate, properly secured restraint according to Nevada law. If a safe, legal setup isn’t possible, the ride may need to be delayed or cancelled.

🧒 7. Will my child be safe riding without me?

Yes. Child and teen safety is taken very seriously.

For kids and younger riders, I provide:

  • Verified pickup and drop-off
  • GPS tracking support and check-ins
  • Optional in-cab video for added reassurance until you and your child feel fully comfortable
  • Clear communication before, during, and after the ride
  • One trusted driver every time — no rotating strangers

Parents and guardians stay in the loop the entire way.

🧓 8. Do you assist seniors or riders with disabilities?

Yes. AdaptRides was shaped by real caregiving experience and is especially mindful of seniors and disabled riders.

I offer true door-to-door support, which can include:

  • Walking to the door and offering a steady arm if needed
  • Extra time getting in and out of the vehicle
  • Patience with mobility devices and slower pacing

Families can also receive confirmations when their loved one is picked up and dropped off.

💳 9. How do payments work?

AdaptRides uses Square for payments.

  • You may receive a secure Square payment link via text or email.
  • You can also tap to pay in person using card, phone, or digital wallet.

Payment is typically due before the ride begins or at pickup. Some bookings, especially nightlife or recurring services, may require a deposit to reserve your time.

10. Do tips go directly to the driver?

Yes. Tips go directly to the driver and are always appreciated, but never required. The base service is designed to be respectful and thorough either way.

📅 11. What if I need to cancel?

Plans change — I understand. In general, rides cancelled at least 24 hours in advance may be eligible for a refund of prepaid time (excluding clearly marked non-refundable deposits).

Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged up to the minimum booking time because that time was reserved just for you.

If something comes up, please communicate as soon as possible so we can work out the best solution.

AdaptRides primarily serves the Las Vegas Valley, including:

  • Henderson
  • Las Vegas
  • Summerlin
  • North Las Vegas
  • Nearby surrounding areas, when feasible

If you’re unsure whether your location is covered, just reach out with your pickup and drop-off details.

🚙 13. What vehicle do you drive?

AdaptRides uses a black-on-black Dodge Journey SUV — clean, calm, and comfortable, with room for multiple riders depending on the booking.

The focus is on feeling safe, relaxed, and respected the entire time you’re in the vehicle.

🏥 14. Can you stay with me during appointments?

Yes. Because AdaptRides is hourly, I can wait while you attend medical appointments, personal appointments, or quick errands.

Your time is your time — no rushing. We’ll confirm the plan ahead of time so expectations are clear.

🚺 15. Is the driver female?

Yes. AdaptRides is operated by a woman with several years of commercial driving experience, serving families, seniors, and adults with professionalism and care.

Many riders — especially women, LGBTQ+ riders, parents, and seniors — appreciate knowing exactly who will be picking them or their loved ones up every time.
